It seems like it was about 12 years ago when I received my first treatment from Joyce. I had been referred by a friend at work who had been cured of a back strain by Joyce. My history is one of years of difficulty associated with a spinal defect–a defect that neither doctors nor chiropractors could completely heal. Joyce is the only treatment provider who has been able to keep me pain free, and now I only go see her once every few months for maintenance. When I have a Cranio Sacral session, I notice a huge difference in my ability to think better. I am part owner of a moving company in which I do a lot of organizing, lifting and driving long distances. I also do detailed art work, including painting wood grain design patterns on damaged furniture etc. My life can be very stressful and when my ‘business brain’ isn’t working, I know that my body is out of alignment; and Cranio Sacral therapy seems to line everything up, and my ability to think and reason returns and my art work improves.

I struggled with depression, anxiety, and chronic health problems my entire life. I had seen other providers in the natural medicine field, but I began to really heal physically and emotionally after I began having treatments from Joyce. She was also SO MUCH more affordable than other people were, so I was able to get the help I needed. I have more energy and feel like a whole new person emotionally. I’ve learned how to manage my own health for the most part. In the beginning I went every few weeks. Now I go in when I feel that I’m really structurally out of balance, which doesn’t happen often. I’ve learned so much from her so that I can be responsible for my own health. After my babies are born, I bring them in and she does amazing work for them and for me. I recover so much faster from child-birth when I have one or two appointments with her after the baby is born. My pregnancies are also better when I go to Joyce during those really uncomfortable last months. My husband is naturally skeptical of “complimentary or alternative” health care, but is a firm believer in what Joyce does. He is an electrician and does A LOT of physical labor. More than once she has helped him so he could keep working after he had hurt his back. She has been a blessing to our entire family.
